A pioneer of the HAPV-theory, he's one of the most sought after seminar instructors anywhere in the world today Patrick McCarthy, Founder and Chief Instructor of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society, has nearly 40 years of experience in Karate and was one of Richard Kim's most senior students. A national champion during the 1970's, he's gone onto author eight books including the best seller "Bubishi," more than a dozen DVD's, written a myriad of articles, been featured on the cover of many martial arts magazines and wrote the world's first under-graduate Martial Art's Instructor's program.
